I really like the idea of recycling items into something useful again. I have an unlimited supply (or so it seems) of album covers via my husband, so I'm always on the look out for how to reuse them.

Tutorial Tuesday: Fabric Flower Pin

If you haven't checked out blairpeter's blog yet, stop, click the link and do so right now!  This wonderful crafter from the northwest has tons of interesting info on the site.  I stumbled across this Fabric Flower Pin tutorial a while back.  Any fiber artist/crafter is always looking for things to make from fabric scraps, and flower pins are a classic.

Blair has allowed me to reprint this easy to understand tutorial for this week's Tutorial Tuesday.  Just think of the possibilities...different petal shapes, layers of different color fabrics, fabric stiffener and molds... I think a few of my favorite things this Fall will have wonderful pins attached!
